Celluminova

Specializing in cancer stem cell technologies

WHO WE ARE

Celluminova is a Swedish life science company focused on cancer stem cell biology. We develop small-molecule technologies designed to identify and target cell populations associated with tumor invasion, treatment resistance and recurrence, with an initial focus on aggressive brain tumors such as glioblastoma.

OUR FOCUS

Our current focus is fluorescence-guided surgery for malignant gliomas. Our lead candidate, p-HTMI, is being developed as a fluorescent imaging agent designed to enable visualization of glioma stem cells during surgery. Over time, our technology may offer opportunities for broader applications targeting cancer stem cells.

OUR STORY

It started with an unexpected green glow. After years of research into fluorescent molecules and stem cell biology, a final experiment revealed something remarkable: specific cells began to fluoresce. Further research connected the finding to glioma stem cells — and laid the scientific foundation for Celluminova.

OUR VALUES

We are guided by scientific rigor, responsibility and a clear focus on patients. These principles shape how we develop our science, build our company and make long-term decisions.

OUR INVESTORS

We seek long-term investors who share our commitment to responsible science, a patient-focused approach, and sustainable company building.

After only a few minutes, the stem cells will emit green light from GlioStem® molecules under illumination.

Glioma stem cells are associated with tumor initiation, treatment resistance and recurrence, making them an important target in glioblastoma.
