Shirin is the CEO and co-founder of Celluminova. She holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Neuroscience, with a focus on stem cell biology. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she studied cancer stem cells in malignant brain tumors, and brings experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
Anne-Christine (Anki) Nilsson
Chief Operating Officer
Anki holds a Master of Science in Biology and a PhD in Clinical Chemistry and brings over a decade of experience in senior management roles within the life science sector. Her extensive expertise in pre-clinical research, diagnostics, patent portfolios, and business development is instrumental to Celluminova’s strategic growth.
Marcus Bäck
Chief Technology Officer
Marcus holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry, specializing in medicinal chemistry, and is an Associate Professor in Organic Chemistry. He has more than 10 years of experience developing luminescent ligands for disease detection and targeted therapeutic applications. Since joining Celluminova in 2020, he has brought his expertise in the chemistry and molecular design of these ligands to advance their potential for both disease detection and targeted treatment.
Cassandra Stens
Market Development Lead
Cassandra holds a Master of Science in Chemical Biology and Engineering from Linköping University. She leads strategic intelligence, integrating market and competitive insights to support positioning and development strategy.
Eltjona Rrapaj
Research Scientist
Eltjona holds a PhD in Medical Sciences and Biotechnologies and has extensive experience in cancer research. She completed her postdoctoral training at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on novel therapeutic strategies for brain tumors, and brings strong expertise in translational oncology and advanced cell and molecular biology.
